Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G - Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your Galaxy Z Flip3 5G to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages and connect to the internet.

Before you begin

If using a physical SIM card, make sure there's a 5G SIM card is inserted into the device before powering on.

If the eSIM profile fails to download, refer to Download and Activate an eSIM after device setup is completed.

Press and hold the

Power button

until the device begins to power on. Select your language then tap

Start

Review the Terms and Privacy screen, then tap

Agree

Confirm the correct phone number displays then tap

To set up your device using another phone or tablet, choose

Galaxy or Android device

iPhone or iPad

then follow the instructions or tap

Set up manually

Connect to a Wi-Fi network.

To copy apps and data, tap

to transfer your content now or tap

From the Google Services screen, select any the options to turn on or off then tap

Select a screen protection option (e.g., face or fingerprint recognition) or tap

Follow the onscreen prompts to review and accept the Google Services option (e.g., Gemini, Location, etc.).

From the Verizon Services screen, turn the following on or off then tap

To set up Verizon Cloud, review the info then tap
