Before you begin
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (Gmail™, Exchange®, Facebook®, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, the info can be separated back into individual contacts.
Steps
- Open theContacts app.
- Perform any of the following:
- To link a contact:
- Tap the3-line Menu icon.
- TapManage contacts.
- TapMerge contacts.
- Select the contact(s) to link.
- TapMerge.
- To unlink a contact:
- Select a contact.
- TapStorage locations.
- TapUnlinklocated to the right of the contact(s).
