Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Select the applicable app.
  4. If available, tap
    Permissions
     in the App settings section then do one of the following:
    • To allow an app permission:
      1. From the Not allowed section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap
        Allow only while using the app
         or
        Ask every time
        .
      3. Tap the
        Back arrow icon
        in the upper left to return to App permissions.
    • To deny an app permission:
      1. From the Allowed section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap
        Don't allow
        .
      3. If prompted, review the confirmation message then tap
        Don't allow anyway
        .
