TCL FLIP Pro - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to modify or turn the SIM PIN for your FLIP Pro on or off.
  • Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so that it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, a PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) must be obtained from Verizon Wireless.

SIM Card Lock

  1. From the main screen, press the
    OK button
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

  2. Select
    Settings
    .
  3. From the 'Privacy & Security' section, select
    SIM Security
    .
  4. Select
    SIM PIN
    .
  5. Select
    Card Lock
    .
  6. Select an option:
    • On
      Enter the SIM Unlock code then select
      Done
      .
    • Off
      Enter the SIM Unlock code then select
      Done
      .

Edit Card Code

  1. From the main screen, press the
    OK button
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

  3. From the 'Privacy & Security' section, select
    SIM Security
    .
  4. Select
    SIM PIN
    .
  5. Select
    Change SIM PIN
    .
  6. Enter the current SIM PIN.
  7. From the 'Create PIN' section, enter the new desired SIM PIN.
  8. From the 'Confirm new PIN' section, re-enter the new desired SIM PIN.
  9. Select
    Done
    .
