Add an Existing Google Account

Adding a Google™ (Gmail™) account to your moto g pure lets you access email, apps, and services, as well as sync your data across multiple devices.

Steps

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Passwords & accounts

Add Account

Google

Enter the applicable Gmail address then tap

Enter the password then tap

If 'Try another way to sign in' appears, select a method to validate account.

From the 'Never lose your contacts' screen, tap

Turn on Backup

Don't turn on

To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap

I agree

Tap the

Backup up to Google Drive switch

to turn on or off then tap

Tap the

Back arrow

or swipe up from the bottom of the screen to exit setup.
