Before you begin
Ensure a secure screen lock (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.) is set up.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- TapSecurity.
- From the Device Security section, tap theGear iconlocated to the right of Screen lock.
- Do any of the following:
- TapLock after screen timeoutthen select an option (e.g., Immediately, 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
- Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
- Power button instantly locks
- Make pattern visible
