Move Files from Internal Storage to SD / Memory Card

Moving files to an SD card frees up storage space and helps your moto g pure run more efficiently.

Before you begin

Make sure an SD / memory card is inserted into your moto g pure.

Open the

Settings app

Tap

Storage

Tap the

Dropdown menu

then select

This device

Select a category (e.g., Images, Videos, etc.).

If applicable, select the directory or folder that contains the file(s).

Touch and hold an image to select it or tap the

3-dot Menu

then tap

Select all

to select all images.

Tap the

3-dot Menu

Tap

Move to

Tap the

3-line Menu

Tap

SanDisk SD Card

If necessary, navigate to the applicable directory to move the files to or create a new folder.

If prompted, tap

Move
