Resetting app data on your moto g pure can help fix problems like crashing and freezing without having to delete the app from your device.

Before you begin

Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Do any of the following:
    • To reset an individual app:
      1. Navigate:
        Apps
        All apps
        .
      2. Locate then select an app.
      3. Tap
        Force stop
         then tap
        OK
        .
      4. Tap
        Storage & cache
        .
      5. Tap
        Clear storage
         then tap
        OK
        .
    • To reset all app preferences:
      1. Navigate:
        System
        Reset options
        Reset app preferences
        .
      2. Tap
        Reset apps
        .
