Kyocera DuraSport 5G UW - Manage RTT Settings

Here's how to use the real-time text (RTT) functionality on your DuraSport 5G UW.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written, without waiting or the need for an additional device.

Change RTT Visibility

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Menu icon Menu icon
    Call settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Real Time Text
     then choose an option:
    • Always visible
    • Visible during calls

Make a Call with RTT Always Visible

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. From the 'Contacts tab', select a contact or enter the 10-digit number.
  3. Tap the
    RTT Call icon
     .

Make a Call with RTT Visible During calls

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. From the 'Contacts tab', select a contact or enter the 10-digit number.
  3. Tap the
    Call icon
     Dial icon.
  4. Once the call connects, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon.
  5. Tap
    Show RTT screen
    .
  6. From the 'RTT' screen, read the disclaimer then tap
    OK
    .

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, tap
    End call
    .
