View, Open or Close Recently Used Apps

Navigating recently-used apps lets you quickly resume tasks or free up unused operating memory on your Pixel 6 / 6 Pro.

Steps

From a Home screen, touch and swipe up from the bottom edge of the device to view and scroll through the list of open apps.

Do any of the following:

To open apps, scroll to then tap the desired app(s) in the list.

To close an app, scroll through the apps then swipe up.

To close all apps, scroll to the last screen on the left then tap
