Orbic Tab8 5G - Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your Orbic Tab8 5G.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap then tap
    Wireless Emergency alerts
    .
  4. Tap any of the following to turn on Switch on or off switch off:
    • Allow alerts
    • AMBER alerts
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • Public safety messages
    • Required monthly test
    • State and local tests
    • Vibration
  5. Tap
    Alert reminder sound
     then select an option (e.g., Once, Every 2 minutes, etc.).
