Set Ringtones / Notification Sounds

Customizing ringtone and notification sounds on your Galaxy S22 / S22+ / S22 Ultra lets you personalize your phone and easily recognize alerts.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Sounds and vibration
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To set a ringtone:
      1. Tap
        Ringtone
        .
      2. If multiple mobile network plans are present (i.e., eSIM and physical SIM card), select the preferred SIM.
      3. Select a ringtone then tap the
        Back arrow icon
         to save and return to the previous screen.
    • To set a notification sound:
      1. Tap
        Notification sound
        .
      2. If multiple mobile network plans are present (i.e., eSIM and physical SIM card), select the preferred SIM.
      3. Select the preferred notification sound then tap the
        Back arrow icon
         to save and return to the previous screen.
    • To adjust vibration settings:
      1. Tap
        Call Vibration
         or
        Notification vibration
        .
      2. Select a pattern then tap the
        Back arrow icon
         to return to the previous screen.
      3. Tap
        Vibration intensity
        .
      4. Drag any of the sliders left or right to the desired level.
