MOTOROLA EDGE+ 5G UW - Customize Your Home Screen
Personalizing the Home screen on your motorola edge+ 5G UW makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
- Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapWidgets.
- Touch and hold a widget.
- Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g. Email).
- Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g. Gmail) then release.A folder containing the shortcuts is created. To rename the folder:
- Tap the folder.
- TapEdit Name.
- Enter a name then tap theKeypad checkmark icon.
To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
- Drag the item to 'Remove'
then release.
Set Wallpaper
- Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
- TapWallpapers.
- Select a folder (e.g., My photos, Dynamic, etc.).
- Locate then tap the preferred picture.
- Tap theCheckmark icon.
- Choose one of the following:
- Home screen
- Lock screen
- Home screen and lock screen
