Install or Remove Configuration Profiles

To ensure your Apple® iPhone® is set up correctly for work or school, or to remove old settings, you might need to install or remove a configuration profile.

Before you begin

If a profile isn't installed within 8 minutes of being downloaded, it'll be deleted automatically.
If you remove a profile, all of the settings, apps and data associated with the profile are deleted.

Install a Configuration Profile

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Profile Downloaded
    .
    If unavailable, tap
    Enroll in [organization name]
    .
  3. Tap
    Install
    , follow the onscreen instructions then restart your iPhone.

Remove a Configuration Profile

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    General
    VPN & Device Management
    .
  3. Tap the desired profile.
  4. Tap
    Remove Profile
    .
  5. If prompted, enter your passcode, tap
    Remove
     then restart your iPhone.
