Backup / Restore Current Configuration

Backing up your configuration lets you quickly restore all your custom settings (e.g., network names, passwords, etc.) if you ever need to reset or replace your Verizon Internet Gateway.

Steps

  1. Access the router admin page then select the
    Advanced tab
    .
  2. From the left menu, select
    System
     then
    Factory Reset
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To backup, choose
      Router
       or
      Backup file
       from the Save Options dropdown then select
      Save
      .
    • To restore, choose one of the following from the Restore Options dropdown, select
      Restore
       then follow the onscreen prompts to complete the process:
      • Default Settings
      • Default Settings except current user settings (SSIDs, passwords, etc.)
      • Recent backup
      • Load a backup file
      • Restore from account
