Add / Remove a Wi-Fi ConnectionConnect your Pixel 6a to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Ensure theUse Wi-Fi switchis turned on.
- Perform one of the following:
- Connect to an available Wi-Fi network:
- Tap the preferred network.
- Enter the appropriate password then tapConnect.
- Manually connect to a Wi-Fi network:
- TapAdd network.
- From the Network name (SSID) field, enter the appropriate name.
- Tap the Security fielddropdown menu.
- Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA/WPA2-Personal, etc.).
- TapAdvanced optionsto enable any additional settings (e.g., Proxy settings, IP settings, etc).
- Enter the appropriate password then tapSave.
- Remove a Wi-Fi connection:
- Touch and hold the Wi-Fi network.
- TapForget.
