Lenovo ThinkPad X13s - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your ThinkPad X13s.
  1. From the Home screen, tap or click the
    Start key
     Windows Start key.
  2. Tap or click the
    Settings
    .
  3. Tap or click
    Accounts
    .
  4. From the left panel, tap or click
    Sign-in options
    .
    If you using a local account, the account must be password protected. Otherwise, the fingerprint can't be enrolled.
  5. Tap or click
    Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello)
    .
  6. Perform any of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Tap or click
        Set up
        .
      2. Tap or click
        Get started
        .
      3. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the enrollment then create a PIN when prompted, in case your finger can't be recognized at Windows® sign-in.
        Multiple fingerprints can be enrolled.
    • To add a fingerprint:
      1. Tap or click
        Get started
        .
      2. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the enrollment.
    • To remove fingerprint data:
      1. Tap or click
        Remove
        .
