SHARP ROUVO V - Power Up in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your ROUVO V that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. With the device powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the 'Sharp' logo appears then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  3. Approximately 2-3 seconds after the 'Sharp' logo appears on-screen, press and hold the
    Volume down button
    .
    If pressed too soon, device won't boot into Safe Mode.
  4. The device starts up with 'Safe mode' displayed in the lower-left.
    This may take up to 1 minute to complete.
