Set Up Speed Dial

Setting up speed dial entries on your One Talk CP925 / CP965 IP conference phone allows you to call important phone numbers quickly and easily.

Before you begin

If desired, a speed dial number can utilize pause dialing. This is useful for navigating interactive menus automatically.

Steps

  1. From the idle screen, tap
    Dsskey
    .
  2. Tap the
    Plus icon
     to create a speed dial using a blank line key, or long press and drag an existing line key onto the
    Edit icon
    .
  3. From the Type field, select
    Speed Dial
    .
  4. Select a contact from the Directory or enter the appropriate info:
    • Label
    • Value (extension number)
      Pause dialing: While entering the speed dial phone number, enter a comma (,) to insert a short delay time before dialing the next number in the string. Extend the delay by entering more commas.
      Example: Entering a speed dial value of 9875551212,,,,,1234# will cause the desk phone to dial 9875551212, a moderate wait, then dial 1234#.
  5. Tap the
    Checkmark icon
     to save changes.
