Adjust Account Sync Settings

Adjusting the sync settings on your Pixel 7 / 7 Pro helps manage app updates, improve performance, conserve battery and control data usage.

Before you begin

Turning off auto sync stops accounts from automatically refreshing your data and delivering notifications.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Passwords, passkeys & accounts
    .
  3. Tap the applicable email account.
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Turn sync settings on or off as preferred.
    To turn master sync for all account types on or off, navigate:
    Settings
    Passwords, passkeys & accounts
     then tap the
    Automatically sync app data switch
