Record and Play Sound File

Recording and playing sound files on your Pixel 7 / 7 Pro is a practical way to save important info, from meeting notes to personal reminders.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Recorder app
    .
  2. If prompted, read the disclaimer, tap
    Get started
     then follow the setup prompts.
  3. Tap the
    Record icon
    .
  4. Tap the
    Pause icon
     to pause the recording.
    To continue the recording after it's paused, tap
    Resume
    .
  5. Tap
    Add title
     to enter a name for the file then tap
    Save
    .
  6. To listen to a recording, tap the desired file then tap the
    Play icon
    .
  7. To delete the recording, touch and hold the recording then tap the
    Trash icon
    .
  8. Tap
    Delete
     to confirm.
