A screen lock keeps your Pixel 7 / 7 Pro safe and private. If you've set one up, follow these simple instructions to unlock your device and make it ready for use.

Steps

  1. Press the
    Power button
    .
  2. Depending on the screen lock type, do one of the following:
    • Double-tap the screen.
    • Swipe the screen up or down.
    • Draw the current unlock pattern.
    • Enter the current PIN or password then tap
      OK
       or
      Done
      .
    • Touch the fingerprint sensor on the back of the device under the camera with a registered fingerprint.
    • Using the front-facing camera, position your face within the provided area.
