Apps installed on your Galaxy S23 / S23+ / S23 Ultra may request access to certain device features. You can review and change these permissions any time to suit your needs.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Locate then select the applicable app.
  4. If available, tap
    Permissions
    .
    • To allow an app permission:
      1. From the Not allowed section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap the preferred option:
        • Allow
        • Allow only while using this app
      3. Tap the
        Back arrow icon
         to return to App permissions.
    • To deny an app permission:
      1. From the Allowed section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap
        Don't allow
