Here's how to configure the screen lock settings for your TCL 40 XE 5G.

  4. Tap the
    Gear icon
     Gear icon next to the screen lock setting to set up options:
    Depending upon the screen lock type, the options presented may vary.
    • Make pattern visible
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Automatically lock (e.g., Immediately, 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.)
    • Power button instantly locks
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Lock screen message
      Enter a message to display on the lock screen.
