Manage RTT Settings

Use RTT to text in real time on calls from your Pixel 7a. This can help with hearing or speech issues or if you prefer typing.

Change RTT Visibility

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. From the Home tab, tap the
    3-line Menu
     then tap
    Settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Accessibility
    .
  4. Tap
    Real-time text (RTT)
     then select from one of the following options:
    • Not visible
    • Visible during call
    • Always visible

Make a Call with RTT

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Once the call connects, tap
    More
     then tap
    RTT
    .

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, tap the
    End call icon
    .
