Set Lock Screen Notifications

Choose whether messages and alerts show in full, remain private, or stay silent while the screen on your Pixel 7a is locked.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    Notifications on lock screen
    .
  4. Tap
    Show on lock screen
     to turn on or off.
  5. When show on lock screen is enabled, tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Show viewed notification icons
    • Show silent notifications
    • Show sensitive content
