Change Network Mode

If your Galaxy Z Flip5 drops calls due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.

Before you begin

Automatic network selection is turned on by default and should only be turned off if needed. Turning off this setting may impact your service.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Connections

Mobile networks

Network operators

If multiple mobile network plans are present (i.e., eSIM and physical SIM card), select the SIM from the tabs at the top of the screen.

Tap the

Select automatically switch

to turn on or off.

If Select automatically is turned off, follow the onscreen prompts to select an available network.
