Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Connect your Galaxy Watch6 / Watch6 Classic to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
     on your watch.
  2. Tap
    Connections
     then tap
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap the desired available Wi-Fi connection.
      2. Tap
        Password
        , enter the Password (if required) then tap
        Connect
        .
    • Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. Tap
        Network name
        .
      3. Enter the name of the desired network, tap the
        checkmark icon
         to save then tap
        Done
        .
      4. Tap
        Security
         then select the security type (e.g., None, WEP, WPA, etc.).
      5. Tap
        Password
        , enter the password (if required) then tap
        Done
        .
      6. Tap
        Save
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
      1. Tap the desired Wi-Fi connection.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
