A screen lock secures your Galaxy Watch6 / Watch6 Classic and keeps it private. Setting it up or adjusting the options helps you find the right balance between security and accessibility.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security and privacy
    Lock type
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To set up or modify a pattern:
      1. Tap
        Pattern
        .
      2. Draw the desired pattern.
      3. Re-draw the pattern to confirm.
    • To set up or modify a PIN:
      1. Tap
        PIN
        .
      2. Tap
        Set PIN
        .
        If preferred, tap
        Unlock without tap after PIN entered
        .
      3. Enter a numeric 4-digit PIN then tap the
        Right arrow icon
        .
      4. Re-enter the PIN then tap the
        checkmark icon
         to confirm.
    • To disable the screen lock, tap
      None
      .
