Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your identity online via a secure remote server.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    More connection settings
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon.
  4. Tap
    Add VPN profile
    .
  5. If presented with a secure screen lock notification, tap
    OK
    .
    Refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  6. In the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
    If needed, contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  7. In the Type field, tap the
    dropdown menu icon
     then select the appropriate VPN type:
  8. Enter the appropriate info into the applicable fields then tap
    Save
    .
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following:
    The available options vary depending on the selected VPN type.
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
    • Proxy
