Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine what uses the most power on your Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G.

View Battery Life

Open the

Settings app

Tap

Battery

Battery life is measured by standby time, use time and data usage.

Review the current battery status.

indicates the remaining battery life and charging status.

Charging status only displays if the device is connected to a charger.

Protect Batter
: Limits the maximum charge to 85%.

Fast charger connected
: Charging at standard rate, preferred method.

Tap the

Battery usage graph

then perform any of the following:

To view usage since the last full charge, swipe left or right to view the 'Usage since last full charge' graph.

To view usage for the last 7 days, swipe left or right to view the 'Last 7 days' graph.

If desired, tap the graph to view individual app usage.

Indicates how much battery usage occurred for each app listed.

To improve battery life, you can:

Stop running apps that aren't being used.

Disable apps that are consuming too much battery or RAM and not being used.

Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.

Adjust brightness to the lowest setting.

Turn off GPS when not in use.

If turned off, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Turn off Wi-Fi when not in use.

If turned off, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Remove widgets that automatically update.
