TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 - Customize Your Home Screen
Personalizing the Home screen on your TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
- Touch and hold an app.
- Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto the preferred Home screen location.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapWidgets.
- If prompted, review the info then tapGOT IT.
- Tap a category (e.g., Clock, Contacts, etc.) then touch and hold a widget.
- Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., Calendar).
- Drag-and-drop the app onto another app (e.g., Gmail) to add an unnamed folder.
- Do one of the following:
- To rename the folder:
- Tap the folder.
- Tap theTitle barat the bottom of the open folder.
- Enter a name then tap theCheckmark icon.
- To remove a folder:
- Drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, apps, folders, etc.).
- Drag-and-drop the item onto 'Remove' at the top of the screen.Removing an app from a Home screen uninstalls it from your device.
Set Wallpaper
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
- TapWallpaper & style.
- TapChange wallpaper.
- Do one of the following:
- To use an existing wallpaper image:
- Tap 'Static wallpapers' or 'Live wallpapers'.
- Select a wallpaper image from the list.
- TapAPPLY.
- Tap the preferred option:
- Home screen
- Lock screen
- Home screen and Lock screen
- To use an image from your gallery:
- TapMy photos.
- If prompted, select a folder (e.g., Screenshots, etc.).
- Locate then select the preferred picture.
- TapAPPLY.
- Tap the preferred option:
- Home screen
- Lock screen
- Home screen and Lock screen
