Add a User Account

If multiple people share your Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G, user profiles allow everyone to have their own apps, layout and customized settings.

Before you begin

Additional users can only be added by the Owner account (the first account used to access the device):

A full access user account allows users to access their own apps and content.

A restricted access user account allows users limited access to apps and content.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Accounts and backup

Users

Add user or profile

Do one of the following:

To add a full access user account:

Tap

User

Tap

to confirm.

Enter the new user name, tap

then allow a few seconds for the tablet to create the account.

If desired, tap

Switch to User Name

then tap

Set up now

If you choose 'Not now' the setup process automatically begins the first time you sign in to the user account.

To add a restricted access user account:

Tap

User (restricted profile)

then allow a few seconds for the tablet to create the account.

If prompted, tap

Set up screen lock

Enter the new user name, tap

then allow a few seconds for the tablet to create the account.

From the Allow apps and content screen, configure the restrictions as desired then tap the

Back arrow icon

at the top of the screen twice to return to the Users screen.
