Before you begin

Don't try to insert / remove the SIM card while the device is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and/or the device.

Steps

  1. From the lower-edge of the device in portrait orientation with and display facing up, remove the card tray.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Insert the SIM card: Ensure the gold contacts are facing down and the notch is aligned with the SIM / SD tray.
    • Remove the SIM card: With the SIM tray removed, lift SIM card from the try to remove.
  3. Re-insert the card tray.
