Move Files from Internal Storage to SD / Memory Card

Moving files to an SD card frees up storage space and helps your Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G run more efficiently.

Before you begin

Make sure an SD / memory card is inserted in your Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G.

Open the

My Files app

Tap

Internal storage

Navigate to the applicable directory (e.g., DCIM, Music, etc.) where the files are currently located.

Tap the

3-dot Menu icon

Tap

Edit

Select the desired file(s) or tap

All

to choose all files.

Tap

Move

at the bottom.

Tap

SD Card

then navigate to the directory where you want to put the files.

Tap

Move here

in the lower right.
