Create and Send a Text MessageFollow these instructions to send a text message from your Pixel Watch 2.
Before you begin
Messages by Google must be installed on the companion smartphone and set as the default app.
Steps
- Open theMessages app.
- Tap an existing chat thread or tapStart chat.
- If starting a new chat, do one of the following:
- To enter a 10-digit mobile number:
- Tap theKeypad icon.
- Enter the 10-digit number then tap theCheckmark icon.
- To select a contact:
- Turn theCrownto select the preferred contact.
- Tap the applicable mobile number.
- TapStart chat icon.
- To enter a message, do one of the following:
- To send a voice to text message:
- Tap theMicrophone icon.
- TapVoice to Text.
- Speak your message then tap theCheckmark icon.
- Tap theSend icon.
- To type a message:
- Tap theKeypad icon.
- Enter a message then tap theSend icon.
