Setting up speed dial entries on your Google Pixel 8 / 8 Pro allows you to call important phone numbers quickly and easily.

Add a Speed Dial

  1. Touch and hold an empty area of a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. From the Contacts section, touch and hold
    Direct dial
    .
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
  5. Tap a contact.

Remove a Speed Dial

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the
    Direct Dial icon
     for the applicable contact.
  2. Tap
    Remove
    .
