Manage RTT Settings

Use RTT to text in real time on calls from your Pixel 8 / 8 Pro. This can help with hearing or speech issues or if you prefer typing.

Change RTT Visibility

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Tap the
    3-line Menu
     then tap
    Settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Accessibility
    .
  4. Tap
    Real-time text (RTT)
     to turn on or off.

Make a Call with RTT

  1. Open the
    Phone app
     and make a call.
  2. Once the call connects, tap the
    RTT icon
    .
    If unavailable, swipe the screen to the left then tap the
    RTT icon
    .

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, tap the
    End call icon
    .
