Use facial recognition on your Galaxy A15 5G to secure your device and personal info. If you decide to switch methods, you can delete your face data anytime.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security and privacy
    Lock screen
    .
  3. Tap
    Face Recognition
    .
  4. Do any of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. From the Face recognition screen, review the info about Face recognition then tap
        Continue
        .
      2. From the Face registration help screen, review the instructions then tap
        Register
        .
      3. Position your face within the frame and follow the on-screen guide to register your face.
      4. From the Face recognition menu, tap any of the following switch(es) to turn on or off (e.g., Face unlock, Require open eyes, etc.).
    • To remove face data:
      1. From the Face recognition menu, tap
        Remove face data
        .
      2. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
        .
