Setting data limits or warnings on your Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G helps you stay aware of your usage habits, which can be useful if your plan provides a fixed amount of data.

Before you begin

Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website. For business customer data, visit My Business.
To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Data Usage
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile data usage
    .
  4. Tap the
    Gear icon
     then do any of the following:
    • To change the data usage cycle:
      1. Tap
        Start billing cycle on
        .
      2. Select the cycle date then tap
        Set
        .
    • To set a mobile data warning:
      1. Tap the
        Set data warning switch
         to turn on.
      2. Tap
        Data warning
        .
      3. Enter the desired warning threshold (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
    • To set a mobile data limit:
      1. Tap the
        Limit mobile data usage switch
         to turn on.
      2. Tap
        Data limit
        .
      3. Enter the desired level (e.g., 5.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
