Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Screen saver, Screen timeout, Display size and text, etc.) on your moto g play - 2024, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display
     then do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness:
      1. Tap
        Brightness level
         then adjust the slider as preferred.
      2. Tap the
        Adaptive brightness switch
         to turn on or off.
    • To adjust display and font settings:
      1. Tap the
        Dark theme switch
         to turn on or off.
      2. Tap
        Display size and text
        .
      3. Slide the
        Font size dot
         to select an option (e.g., Small, Default, etc.).
      4. Slide the
        Display size dot
         to select an option (e.g., Default, Large, etc.).
      5. Tap the
        Back arrow
         to return to the Display settings screen.
      6. Tap
        Colors
         then select an option (e.g., Natural, Saturated).
      7. Tap the
        Back arrow
        .
      8. Tap
        Screen timeout
         then select an option (e.g., 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
