Adjust Brightness / Display SettingsBy adjusting screen settings (e.g., Screen saver, Screen timeout, Display size and text, etc.) on your moto g power 5G, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- TapDisplaythen do any of the following:
- To adjust brightness:
- TapBrightness levelthen adjust the slider as desired.
- Tap theAdaptive brightness switchto turn on or off.
- To adjust display and font settings:
- TapScreen timeoutthen select an option (e.g., 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
- Tap theDark theme switchto turn on or off.
- TapDisplay size and text.
- Slide theFont size dotto the preferred setting (e.g., Small, Default, etc.).
- Slide theDisplay size dotto the preferred setting (e.g., Default, Large, etc.).
- Tap theBack arrow iconto return to the Display settings screen.
- TapColorsthen select an option (e.g., Natural, Saturated).
- Tap theBack arrow iconto return to the Display screen.
- To control what happens when the phone is docked or charging:
- TapScreen saver.
- Tap theUse screen saver switchto turn on.
- TapWhen to startthen select one of the following:
- While charging
- While docked
- While charging or docked
- From the Choose a screen saver section, tap the preferred option (e.g., Clock, Colors, Photos).
- TapCustomizeto configure advanced settings for the selected screen saver.
