If your moto g power 5G drops calls due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.

Before you begin

This setting is turned on by default and should only be turned off if needed, as doing so may impact your service.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Mobile network
    .
  3. If you're having trouble with your connection, do the following to manually select a carrier:
    1. Tap the
      Automatically select network switch
       to turn off.
    2. Select a carrier.
      It may require as many as 6 registration attempts with that carrier before successful registration.
