Set Date and Time

Keeping the correct date and time on your moto g power 5G ensures alarms, calendar and reminders are delivered correctly. Change if the time is incorrect.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    System
    Date & time
    .
  3. To use network-provided values, tap the following to turn on:
    • Set time automatically
    • Set time zone automatically
    • Use location to set time zone
    • Use locale default
  4. To manually set the date and time, do the following:
    1. Turn off Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically.
    2. Tap
      Date
      .
    3. Adjust the date then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Tap
      Time
      .
    5. Adjust the time then tap
      OK
      .
    6. Tap
      Time zone
      .
      1. Tap
        Region
         then select the desired region.
      2. Tap
        Time zone
         then select the desired zone.
  5. If desired, tap
    Use 24-hour format
     to turn on (Use locale default must be off).
