Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Brightness, Screen timeout, Font size, etc.) on your Pixel 8a, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display & touch
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness settings:
      1. Tap
        Brightness level
         then adjust the slider as preferred.
      2. Tap
        Adaptive brightness
        .
      3. Tap the
        Use adaptive brightness switch
         to turn on or off.
    • To adjust display / font settings:
      1. Tap
        Screen timeout
         then select an option (e.g., 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
      2. Tap the
        Back arrow
        .
      3. Tap
        Font size
         then adjust the slider as preferred.
