Choose whether messages and alerts show in full, remain private, or stay silent while the screen on your Pixel 8a is locked.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    Notifications on lock screen
    .
  4. Tap
    Show on lock screen
     to turn on or off.
  5. With Show on lock screen enabled, tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Show viewed notification icons
    • Show silent notifications
    • Show sensitive content
