A screen lock keeps your Pixel 8a safe and private. If you've set one up, follow these simple instructions to unlock your device and make it ready for use.

Steps

  1. Press the
    Power button
    .
  2. Depending on the screen lock type, do one of the following:
    • Swipe the screen up or down.
    • Draw the current unlock pattern.
    • Enter the current PIN or password then tap
      OK
       or
      Done
      .
    • Touch the fingerprint sensor with a registered fingerprint.
    • Using the front-facing camera, position your face within the provided area.
