Adding a Google™ (Gmail™) account to your moto g 5G lets you access email, apps, and services, as well as sync your data across multiple devices.

Steps

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Passwords, passkeys & accounts

Add account

Google

Enter the applicable Gmail address then tap

Enter the applicable password then tap

To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap

I agree

From the 'Google services' screen, tap the

Use basic device backup switch

to turn on or off then tap

Tap

to confirm and add your Google account.
