Adjusting the sync settings on your moto g 5G helps manage app updates, improve performance, conserve battery and control data usage.

Before you begin

Turning off auto sync stops accounts from automatically refreshing your data and delivering notifications.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Passwords, passkeys & accounts
    .
  3. Tap the
    Automatically sync app data switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Tap the applicable account.
  5. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  6. Turn the sync settings on or off as preferred.
    To perform a manual sync, tap the
    3-dot Menu
     and tap
    Sync now
    .
