Capture and Share a Picture / Video

Follow these steps to easily capture photos or videos on your moto g 5G and send them to friends or family, helping you share moments in real time.

Before you begin

To share a picture that you've already taken or a video you've already recorded, refer to Share Picture / Video from Gallery.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Camera app
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To take a picture:
      1. Tap
        Photo
        .
      2. Aim the camera, then tap the
        Shutter icon
         to take the picture.
    • To record a video:
      1. Tap
        Video
        .
      2. Aim the camera, then tap the
        Record icon
         to begin recording.
      3. When finished, tap the
        Stop icon
         to discontinue recording.
  3. Tap the image preview to view the picture or video.
  4. Tap the
    Share icon
    .
  5. Select one of the available options (e.g., Bluetooth, Cloud, Email, Gmail, Messages, etc.).
  6. Enter any additional info required to send or share the picture or video.
